NJCAA DIII ranked Rock Valley College’s Women’s Basketball squad #1 in the nation. The Golden Eagles started their season this past Wednesday against DII Bryant and Stratton College, and lost 65-77. A fast paced game is intresting to watch, but this time RVC was plauged by foul trouble, missed shots, and bad passes. The silver lining for the ladies was despite the score they kept a consistent press on the opponent and made fast breaks count.
Their next game is Saturday November 4, 1:00 PM at the PEC. RVC is set to play Moraine Valley Community College. Last year’s team will be recieving their championship rings in the pre-game ceremony.
