When speaking of Galvan, Tom Romanello says he will help with recruitment of players to RVC and described him as follows, “Carlos is well-connected within the surrounding community” (https://rvcsports.com/). Christian Corral graduated from Belvidere High school and played for Rock Valley College and North Park University. His job will be to help with practice, games, and team operations. Coach Romanello, said “Christian is going to give us an opportunity to be even more multi-dimensional at practices, games, and behind-the-scenes” (https://rvcsports.com/).

The team has 23 players (9 Sophomores, 14 Freshmen) on the roster. This season so far, the team’s record is 3-1 with their only loss against #6 Harper College with a score of 0-3. However, the team bounced back in their next three games with a 5-0 win vs Joliet Junior College for their first win and then their game on April 16th they won 3-1 vs Madison College. The next game after that was on April 24th. A game win which they faced off against the College of Lake County where they would score 7 goals and won the game.  Their next game will be against the team so far that has handed RVC its only loss, Harper College, today at 4pm in Rockford, which will also be their second home game this season. It will be an interesting game today as it seems the team has found its rhythm and will look to avenge the loss from their first encounter.
