There will be a tailgate to kick off RVC’s Homecoming Week from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 24. The tailgate is open to the public and will be in Parking Lot 10 near the soccer field at RVC (3301 N Mulford Rd, Rockford, IL 61114).
There will be live music, games, and activities for all ages. At 1 p.m., the men’s soccer game begins, and following that, the women’s game will begin. For those who arrive first, there will be free food and drinks while supplies last.
Note that the tailgate is an alcohol-free event, and for safety reasons, grills or open flames are not permitted.
